From the moment you enter the Cancer Care Center, you are under the professional care of a highly-skilled cancer team. You, too, are a key player on our team and we hope you will feel free to ask questions and share concerns with any member of the staff at the Center.

  • Your receptionist is often the first person you will meet when you arrive for treatment. She can direct your questions to the appropriate team members and will assist you with completing forms and obtaining medical records.

  • Your radiation therapy nurse (Patient Advocate) works closely with the radiation oncologist to coordinate comprehensive care. Your nurse is a knowledgeable professional who can provide you with information and resources.

  • Your radiation therapists are board certified and will become most familiar to you. They will set up and deliver your daily treatment under the supervision of your radiation oncologist.

  • Your patient accounts representatives are available to assist you with filing of insurance claims and to discuss any questions or concerns you may have with your account.

  • Your medical physicist and dosimetrist are highly-skilled professionals who assist the physician by computing the dosage of radiation needed and by ensuring that the machine delivers accurate dosages at the best treatment angles.
