At the Cancer Care Center, we care about you... right from the beginning. We provide comprehensive services under one roof for your convenience:

  • For patients undergoing treatment and who are unable to provide their own, we may be able to arrange convenient and comfortable transportation.

  • Complimentary patient and family support programs are available. At the Cancer Care Center, we feel a compassionate approach towards recovery is best achieved with understanding between patient, family members and friends. We work closely with voluntary organizations and can make them accessible to you.

  • Patient and family literature regarding all aspects of your care is available. This will better assist you in taking an active role in your treatment.


Prescriptions and refills are issued during office hours only. During the evenings and weekends, it is difficult for the doctors to determine whether a prescription or refill is indicated when they do not have your medical record in front of them. This means that your doctor will NOT write prescriptions or refills during the evenings or weekends. The best method of having a refill issued is to have your pharmacist call our office during normal working hours and give us your name, the purpose of the needed prescriptions and whether you have had a previous prescription from us. Narcotic prescriptions cannot be called into a pharmacy by law. Please let us know in advance, and a written prescription, if appropriate, can be mailed to you.


Please be aware that patients undergoing treatment may be at different stages of the disease and their treatment. Any concerns should not be discussed with other patients or family members.

Concerns to do with medical care should be directed to the doctor and any financial concerns should be directed to our Patient Accounts Representatives.

Please be considerate to other patients who may not be in the same financial or medical condition as you and could be upset if incorrect statements are made. It can be quite a stressful emotional experience for patients and their family members.


Information will not be provided to third parties (attorney or insurance company) unless we have your written authorization to release such information. If you wish information about your condition to be provided to anyone they should request the information in writing and provide us with the written authorization signed by you to do so.

With regard to providing information to the patient's family, it is more appropriate if one of the immediate members of your family discusses the problem with the doctor or a member of the staff and then transmits the information to other family members. It can be confusing to the patient and family when several members of the same family call and ask for information about the patient.

Please advise the office of any change in your address, phone number, marital status, etc., that may have occurred since your last visit.
