At the Cancer Care Center, we are committed to providing you with only superior health
care in a cost-effective environment regardless of your financial status. We want
to minimize any financial concern and avoid any additional stress for you or your
family. Our dedicated Patient Accounts Representatives are available to give you
personalized attention and to discuss in advance questions you may have regarding
your treatment cost.
The Cancer Care Center is staffed with qualified personnel to assist patients in
handling their health insurance claims. As a courtesy and convenience to our patients,
we will file all claims for treatment charges. This includes the filing of claims
to Medicare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medicaid, commercial insurance, private
insurance, HMO's and PPO's. We accept Medicare assignment. For those patients with
no insurance and who are financially unable to pay, we will assist in referral to
agencies who may be able to help with their medical bills. We are also willing to
discuss other arrangements you may choose.
You may reach our Patient Accounts Representatives Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m. at (941) 748-4324. We believe you have the right to examine and understand
your bill and encourage you to discuss any problems or questions you may have regarding
your account before, during or after your treatment.
- Please be sure to bring proof of primary and/or supplemental
insurance and present it to the receptionist on your first visit.
- Do let us know of any changes in your address, telephone
number, or insurance. Please communicate this information directly to the Patient
Accounts Representatives.
- Notify our office if your insurance company pays you directly.
